My Hair's New BFF: Irresistible Me Diamond Hair Styling Iron

When it comes to doing my hair, especially for work, less is always…well less. With my eyes barely open and my brain still asleep, I have little to no imagination early in the morning when it comes to creating all sorts of beautiful hairstyles I lust over on Pinterest but never actually try doing. This is why when Irresistible Me, who I have spoken about before (see gorgeous hair accessories), offered to send a styling iron that would change my life I of course said yes.

Truth be told, I have never had much luck with straighteners. My hair is incredibly long (no matter how much I cut it, it grows back even faster!), it is wavy and frizzy, voluminous and sometimes quite a pain in the butt, meaning straight hair was one of those things I could only achieve when visiting a hairdresser and even then, they would simply blow dry it not giving that dead straight look I've always wanted. On the other hand, doing my hair at home meant at LEAST 1 hour of arm workout only to be left with sections at the back of head still wavy (granted my straighteners were from Boots but still).

With the Irresistible Me Diamond Hair Styling Iron however, my hair game has totally changed! Not only does the tool look extremely stylish in this red glossy shade, I cannot believe how hot (max temperature 230C) it gets and how fast heat up is. I no longer have to wait 10 minutes for the thing to heat up before starting to style my hair. The temperature variations has to be my favourite feature, they allow me to play around with what works best and damages less my hair. No kidding, what used to take me 1 hour of endless work, now I can get my entire hair done in less than 15 minutes with no aching arms thanks to this super lightweight tool. And, I can do my hair once and not have to straighten it again until I wash it, and that is result if you ask me!

Albeit it’s not the cheapest in the market coming in at a price tag of $149 which equates to approximately £105, but this stuff is brilliant and I'm so glad I've had a chance to try it. Once I found a US plug converter around the house, I had no trouble making it work and was on my way to trendy hair. Two things perhaps Irresistible Me could take into account is to provide a pad to place the tool on whilst it cools down and some sort of heat resistant glove; these would be the cherry on top on this already beautiful cake hmm cake.

All in all, I've already forgotten about those cheapy Boots flat irons I have and this is what I will be reaching for every time I need to either straighten or curl my hair (but more on that later when I come to you with a few hairstyles you can create with this).
