When London gives you sun, you don't think twice about getting out and shooting some pictures. With this in mind I braved the crispy air and decided to sport a few SS16 trends all in one look. Call me optimistic, but I seriously cannot wait until spring officially starts. I kid you not, Longer days, sunny spells, the possibility of going bare legs without suffering frostbite are all things I keep dreaming of. And of course, with spring comes fashion trends that are by far my favourite. I do love winter clothes and how elegant and sophisticated everything looks with minimal effort, but in spring prints, colours and fabrics are definitely easier and a whole lot of fun to play with.
Speaking of Spring/Summer fashion, apart from those 4 hot LFW new season trends I talked about recently, STRIPES are also quite literally everywhere at the moment. Not only were stripes of all sorts seen making their way to street style of the recent fashion weeks, the majority of designers showed some kind of stripe on the runaway and my favs were definitely Prada and Dolce & Gabbana. Needless to say stripes for SS16 are the right bet, so a linear approach is your quick route into spring/summer.
And of course, when I think of spring I also think of DENIM. I've talked about Denim on Denim and that is one trend we can easily translate to warmer weather too. The denim jacket (with added pins for that extra fun touch) is ideal to keep you warm during the evenings and the Cropped Flares is a fresh new cut I was excited to try. When I saw these at H&M I wasn't sure what I was looking at, longer than a culotte and shorter than your standard trouser?! All I know is that these awkward-length pants are surely stealing the spotlight this season as hems are rising on our favourite flares.

Top it all off with some LACE-UPS, a gorgeous handbag I've had my eyes on forever, some sunglasses and I was ready to enjoy the sunny weather around town. I am so over this cold weather, so whenever you're ready spring we will welcome you with open arms! With these staples in one outfit, I felt ready to kick butt and enjoy all the other trends yet to come for SS16.
What do you think of this look? Ready for spring?
