The National Wedding Show With Debenhams

It's not everyday you get VIP tickets for an event, so when Debenhams contacted me asking whether a guest and I wanted to attend the National Wedding Show this past weekend I, of course said yes. If you don't already know (despite me talking about it endlessly here on the blog), I am getting married next April, on the 9th to be more specific, which is just over 6 months away! I've attended my fair share of wedding shows this year already with both my fiancé and my mom for inspiration, and I'm glad to report the major details of the day are all ironed out already. We've got the photographers booked, the wedding dress chosen and bought, the venue and menu sorted out and our honeymoon all booked and paid for, kudos to us! But having still to find the bridesmaids dresses, shoes and hair accessories, the National Wedding Show at Olympia London seemed like the perfect opportunity to make a great wedding related day out!

We were welcome by the kind staff at the Debenhams stand with VIP tickets which gave us access to the VIP lounge, exclusive sitting area for the catwalk, goodie bags as well as a glass of champagne to make the day even better. Mom and I are a sucker for a good catwalk so that was our first stop. Various brands were showcased but Debenhams was the one I was looking forward to the most because excuse my ignorance, I had no idea Debenhams stocked such a huge wedding line! Their wedding dresses designs were simple yet gorgeous, not too over the top but elegant which is just how I like it. Needless to say, I fell in love with almost every dress and I seriously cannot wait for their January 2017 release to hit stores as I #FoundMyMatch and simply put the dress I am in love with would be perfect for my registry day or a pre-wedding photoshoot I am planning to have!

We spent the rest of our day walking around and seeing the other stands, drooling over the amazing cakes and flower arrangements they had on display and enjoying our snacks from the amazing goodie bag we received. All in all, mom and I had an amazing day out thanks to Debenhams and the VIP experience we were treated to! 

I seriously cannot wait for the big day to arrive! Is it too soon to start a countdown? :)
