Despite the recent rise of temperatures, beach going is much too far from the London reality. To keep sane my advice is: take at LEAST one sunny holiday per year (preferably in Spain or anywhere hotter), because if you depend on the British summer...well you ain't getting one. With this is mind and amid holiday plans I have found myself adding more and more items to my ever growing summer wishlist on Pinterest. There are too many cute trends for this season and must have pieces that I am dying to get my hands on.

1. SLOGAN HAT: THE beach accessory of the season for beach-chic on your vacay! If you don't feel like spending a lot of money on the Eugenia Kim hats, Mango has a cheaper dupe and I want!
2. COLD-SHOULDER TOP: Zara's collection this season is a winner and this trend is one of the must try for the summer. There's something sexy yet casual about keeping shoulders bare and you win bonus style points for going with crispy blue shades.
3. RING BAG: Are these popular or what? Of course thanks to the little famous brand we all know, these doppelgangers are everywhere and I love a cheaper dupe. Banana Republic 's summer collection is definitely worth taking a look; I literally need everything in my wardrobe right now.
4. SUMMER EARRINGS: Tassel earrings are making a comeback this season and I can't think of a better option for the beach. The other ones work well for holiday nights out too!
5. WHITE LACE DRESS: I've gone back to the basics this season and a white lacy dress is an essential. They are perfect for summer garden parties or BBQs, and for those sunny days out in the city.
6. MAKEUP BAG: Watermelon makeup bag!!! I don't think I need to say anything else really...
7. TROPICAL BIKINI: I may not be off to the Maldives or anywhere more exotic, but with these I can totally rock the tropical bikini trend.
8. PEASANT DRESS: I've got a few tops in this style, and a dress is the next purchase. No longer seen as the Eastern Europe national costume, these are perfect over your bikini on the beach as well as styled with lace ups or trainers for urban outings.
9. POM POM SANDALS: We've got Aquazzura to thank for this one. As with the hat and the bag, gotta love more affordable versions ofvery expensive out of reach trends.
