Bellápierre Cosmetics Mineral Super Gloss Lip Glosses

I remember getting these on my birthday back in January but it wasn't until a few weeks back I actually gave them a try for the first time! Whilst shopping my stash I came across them and as with any lip glosses, I honestly did not have high expectations. If you've been around here long enough, you will know I have a love/hate relationship with glosses and apart from very few brands like Clinique and Chanel, I find it extremely hard to find a lip gloss that sits well, is non-sticky and lasts more than a few mere minutes on my lips. A few weeks back one of my beauty prayers was answered with non-drying matte lippies, and I now feel like another one has too. Behold, non-sticky and long-lasting Lip Glosses from Bellápierre Cosmetics.

Bellápierre Cosmetics is a brand that aims to bring a luxury range of mineral makeup created using natural ingredients. These offer stunning results and are deemed to have high pigmentation. Prior to these glosses, I had only tried a loose eyeshadow from them, courtesy of Glossybox and I was highly impressed.

Putting these lip glosses to the test, I was pleasantly surprised. Made with natural ingredients and enriched with vitamin E, Jojoba, Avocado and Sunflower waxes, not only they feel great on the lips they keep them healthy as well. In terms of application, they have the standard lip gloss wand making application easy. Each lip glosses is beautifully pigmented as you can see in the swatches, and I find that they look good on top of lipsticks as well as on their on. Obviously on their own duration diminishes, but their lasting power is still around 2-3 hours which is a lot more than I can say for other glosses I've tried. I get non-stickiness and unbeatable silkiness and shine, and I think that for the first time in ages I am genuinely in love with not one but four lip glosses!

From left to right, the shades are described as follows:

Very Berry; a fuchsia red with icy shimmer.

Vanilla Pink; a pink nude with gold shimmer.

Raspberry; a sheer berry with gold shimmer.

Bubble Gum; a sheer pink with icy shimmer.

To sum it up...

Pros:

✓ Great colour payoff.

✓ Application made easy with standard applicator.

✓ Made with natural ingredients.

✓ Enriched with vitamins.

✓ Good duration compared to other glosses.

✓ NON-STICKY!!

✓ Moisturising.

Cons:

✖ Scented and flavoured.

✖ Only available on their website as full size. 

✖ Limited range of shades.

Needless to say I am enjoying these very much and think they will not just work amazingly well for the summery months ahead, I too will get a lot of use from these during the winter. They moisturise my lips thanks to all vitamins and natural waxes, feel great on and are easy to wear, plus all shades suit me rather well; what's not to love?
