Let's Float Away: Glossybox May 2018

The excitement of getting new boxes every month is real and this month's delivery did not disappoint. As soon as I opened the parcel I was greeted with the most gorgeous pastel box (which has already become a storage box in my vanity) and inside a bunch of vegan and cruelty-free goodies (kudos to Glossybox for that!) to help revitalise and make pampering time even more fun.  Let's see what's inside the box this month; keep on reading!

MARIA NILA TRUE SOFT SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER | £3.98- £4.99
Say hello to my new travel-friendly goodies! These couldn't have come at a better time as I've not got long to go until my summer trip (and I couldn't be more excited for a week in the sun, obvs). Travel sized anything equals holiday perfect, and these not only look pretty (loving pastel packaging clearly) they are also free of any nasty substances. Completely vegan, I had heard of the Swedish brand Maria Nila before but now I am glad I actually get to try some of their stuff!

TRIFLE COSMETICS PRALINE PALETTE | £15.55
One can never have too many palettes and to get one that looks like this in a monthly box it's pretty freaking awesome. Also completely vegan, the shades range from a neutral bronze to a deep eggplant, perfect for a night eye look I already have in mind. They are not the most pigmented eyeshadows I have ever tried, but they do look buttery, swatch easily and the shine in that bronze shade is unreal (these swatches don't do it justice). Thumbs up from me!

KUESHI MAKEUP REMOVER | £10.50
Surprised to see this is a full size (for the price) but this is basically my dream product. It removes make-up thanks to its blue solution and refreshes the skin as it is rich in soft oils. I have put this to test for the past few days and I love how my skin feels after use. It looks and feels completely clean, calm and ready for a good night's sleep!

GELSPA LUXURY JELLY FOOT SOAK | £4.99
Random fact about me, I have a weird thing about putting stuff on my feet other than nail polish. The thought of moisturiser in between my toes is quite revolting, so this is not a product I am going to get any use out of. My mother has however gladly taken this off my hands and is super excited to try on her tired feet. This vegan-friendly powder to gel to liquid (what kind of sorcery is this?!) product promises to soothe and moisturise, so if you're into pampering your feet, this looks like the way to do it!

All in all, another amazing box from Glossybox*. It had been a while since I received haircare and skincare products, especially vegan and cruelty-free goodies, and I am super excited to see what's next. Oh, I should mention that there was a We are Tea Earl Grey tea bag in the box as well, but that's long gone and it was good (and I'm not even a massive fan of tea).

This box is perfect for that Sunday night pampering sesh us bloggers all love, and if you like the look of it I've got a code for you all, simply use 'PAM15' at the checkout for 15% off one-month subscriptions (valid until the end of this month). Buy HERE.

Thanks for reading beauties!

    1. Oh shame! I usually have the same feeling about a lot of skincare things in a box, but quite liked this one.

  4. Wow, I really love the box and especially the black tea. Even if tea is simple it's always nice to have it in a beauty or lifestyle box!

  11. Oh cool stuff, Pam! The shampoo and conditioner sound amazing, I never heard about the brand before so it's worth to check them about :) ALthough you say those swatches of the palette don't do them justice I can still see great shades and apparently a good pigmentation. Love the golden tone!
