Almost 4 months ago I was standing at the altar, across my best friend saying "I do" and what a magical day it was. The weather had been terrible all week, yet on that day the sun shone, unlike anything you would see in April. The day went all according to plan, no surprises, no unplanned events and everything looked and felt amazing. Which is why today I thought I'd reminisce a little and look back at all of my wedding details. Details can be easily overlooked but they add up to making the day feel whole and a lot of work goes into them. For all the brides out there currently planning their big days and looking for a little help (trust me, I know how overwhelming this can be), these bits of information might help you out as I will also be listing some contacts and supplier names. I'm baaaack! I cannot describe how much I've missed this space of mine! As you may (or may not) know, I got married last Sunday and as soon as March hit I had to take a few weeks away from here to deal with all the last minute wedding preparations, moving and decorating our own place, and sorting out anything that had to be done prior to entering married life. It has been a crazy couple of weeks for sure, but also exciting ones! And now, I am so glad I am finally finding the time to sit down and put my thoughts into writing and get back to doing what I love, which is keeping this little corner of the internet updated and full of ideas! I have so much planned for the upcoming weeks and with regards to married life, I cannot wait to share with you guys everything (ok, maybe not everyyyything lol....). Our Big Day: Wedding Inspiration Board

As each day goes by, we got closer and closer to our wedding date. That's right, we have FINALLY settled on a date and all will be soon revealed as we still have to work out invitations and a few others bits and bobs before letting the whole world know. What I can say is that we will be getting married in April 2017! I know technically April means beginning of spring, but in my head I'm planning a winter wedding more than anything else. Truth be told, I've always dreamed of a white wedding and despite chances of having snow in April being very slim to none, it will still be chilly out! With this in mind, I'm thinking cosy ambiance, lights and flowers and pretty much anything rustic/wonderland related. I confess I've been already stressing out a little but nothing major. Finding the venue was tough, have you seen the prices in London?! But we finally found a place that we both really like and despite being smaller than what I had always dreamed of when I was little (yes I wanted a castle but ain't nobody got money for that), with all the decor and set ups, it will be like our own little piece of haven.
