What's better than spending a Sunday night pampering yourself with all sorts of nice smelly things?! And of course when I think of pampering and nice scents I, of course immediately think of Lush. I can't say I've tried much of Lush compared to some bloggers I know (yes Vicky, I am looking at you!), but everything I have tried has not been short than amazing. From their bath bombs to their lip scrub, if you've seen any of past Lush mentions here on the blog you will know I LOVE their sweet candy scented products. Which is why it made perfect sense for me to go for the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar from their Limited Edition Christmas range; not only does it look very cute and it smells fabulous, this was my first bubble bar ever and I was more than excited for bath time.
As soon as I started crumbling this gorgeous bubble bar into my bath, there were glistening ridges of bubbles and a comforting creamy candy mist. The water turned into a gorgeous pink colour which made the bath the more inviting. I thought about using half of it and saving the rest for a second bath as I've seen others use this for up to three times. But for the price of £2.95 all it went in one go, besides I don't think the water colour would have been so intense and dramatic had I not used it all up.
What really impressed me about this product, is the number of bubbles it produced in so little time. The water was luxuriously silky and the smell, I mean can we talk about the smell! A mixture of candy floss, pear drops and bubblegum sounds delicious and believe me, it is. Its scent is very similar to Snow Fairy Shower Gel, my favourite Lush product ever (which reminds me, must stock up before the end of the year), and it instantly filled my whole bathroom. Better yet, it lingered on my skin for around 4 hours and my skin felt amazingly soft after the bath.
All in all, if you want a relaxing bubble bath full of shimmer and pink, this is the perfect bubble bar for you. I know the smell isn't for everyone and one may even say such scent would have been more suited for spring or summer, but I find this to be an amazing smell to unwind to during the festive period. Plus, at £2.95, Candy Mountain is hardly going to break the bank which can only mean one thing, must go back and stock up on this too. Anyone else wishing their Christmas range ran all year long?
Tell me, have you tried this bubble bar? What are your thoughts on it? Let me know below!
Thanks for reading beauties and wishing us all an amazing (and quick) week ahead!
Note: Anyone else really struggling with the lack of daylight? You may have also noticed the lack of posts last week, I was sick for most of it but I am back this week so keep an eye out for more posts to come!
