Sunset in Menorca In a Flowery & Flowy Romper

This is the first time I'm wearing a romper, a playsuit, or whatever you wanna call it. Having never been much of a fan of anything in short form, I may have found the solution to my problem. For as long as I can remember I've been a flowy summer dress wearer, avoiding anything that hugs my thighs too much. But when I saw this little romper from Zaful* I knew I had to have it. Not only would it look amazing on holiday with a tan, it has a tail resembling a maxi dress which is a style I love for the sunny days. This is what I like to call the mullet of summer fashion, business in the front, party in the back!

Cute As A Button (Literally!): The Tortoiseshell Button Trend

If you're into micro trends, this is the one for you to try this summer. Buttons, other than being functional, have been upgraded to being totally fashionable this season. No matter how small they may be, I guarantee you'll be seeing tortoiseshell buttons on everyone's #ootd. They have proliferated in our favourite high street shops and made more affordable items look polished, sophisticated and a lot more expensive than they actually are. Previously seen mainly on glasses frames, these have flourished in many new-in pieces and one might even say, they have come to take over the number one trend spot from frills detailing!

Portugal Travel Dairy & Lookbook: Part 3

To commemorate quite possibly the last day of summer weather of the year (today, 25 degrees!), let me throw it back to the beginning of the month when I was in Portugal, more specifically Sintra and Lisbon, enjoying the amazing weather, the food (which is what I miss the most) and the pretty sights. If you've read part 1 and part 2 of this series you will know my holiday started off in Algarve, home of the gorgeous Lagos beaches and caves, and the Albufeira nightlife which was situated very close to where we staying. After a week in the sun, we decided to leave the amazing villa we had rented and head to Lisbon for the weekend before flying back to London. We hit the road and just after a 2 hour and 30 minutes drive our first stop was Sintra!

Portugal Travel Diary & Lookbook: Part 2

You know the feeling when your head is here yet your heart is elsewhere?! That's exactly how I feel about my latest holiday. If you haven't yet read my previous post, check it out here and you'll understand how much in love I am with Portugal. When I usually go on holiday for over a week, I normally can't wait to get home after a few days. This time it was different though; I most certainly was not looking forward to coming back; gorgeous beaches, sunny weather, great food...I was in heaven!

S/S 2016 Trends: Nautical Stripes

Sun, sand, sea and repeat. That is exactly how I want to be spending my summer holiday but until then, summer in the city it is. And what's hotter than nautical fashion for an urban summer? It makes me feel like I'm under the sun (despite actually being under the grey clouds) and definitely is one of my favourite feel-good summer trends. I've talked endlessly about stripes here on the blog these past few weeks, so when MandM Direct got in touch wanting me to join their "Blogger's Pick" project I was of course more than happy to participate. The trend I picked, out of the many this season has to offer, I hear you ask is: STRIPES (again I know but #sorrynotsorry)!
