With Christmas around the corner, it is inevitable shopping has already started. I will admit, I am a shopaholic, so even if I don’t need it, if it’s on offer I will purchase it. And that is exactly what happened on my last trip to Boots. I spoke about how much I had spent on a recent shopping spree and even reviewed another gift set a few days back (read all about the Benefit Pump Up The Party! Set). Today, let’s talk about a fabulous Christmas bauble and how it is the ultimate Soap & Glory experience, especially for a new convert as myself.

Featuring 3 Smoothie Star minis, and a body wash and polisher, this giant bauble has got you covered when it comes to body care. Having not tried many S&G goodies previously, I was in for a treat and am chuffed at how gorgeous everything looks and smells.

Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub 

I confess, I mainly bought this set because of this little guy. After being on the hunt for a new body scrub, this solely stole my heart. With organic cupuacu bio scrubs, bananas, almond, shea butter and honey extracts, believe me, this smells good enough to eat and I don’t even like bananas! It has a great texture to work with, and being so easy to apply and scrub without making a complete mess in the bathtub, my skin feels fresh, invigorated and clean. I have read that this helps with cellulite too and I can’t wait to see if that is true. A winner and will definitely be purchasing the full-size tub once this has finished.

Smoothie Star Buttercream 

I know I've been saying this a lot lately but winter really is around the corner you guys; enter the dry skin saviour! Featuring pistachio and almond oil, shea and cocoa butter, coconut oil and vanilla, this has a remarkable fragrance that is not for everyone. Yes its smell is strong and quite cake/sweet like but by reading its ingredients you can sort of gather that. Despite that, it works extremely well as it is thick and very moisturising, and my legs have turned from water to wine (if that makes sense)! Before buying this, go to Boots and have a sniff; this is one of the products you will either really love or really hate. I adore it already.

Smoothie Star Hand Food Hand Cream

A limited edition hand cream that to some smells like almond and vanilla, but for some reason I've associated its smell with popcorn; don’t even ask. I slap it on my hands every so often (OCD alert!) and I love how it is absorbed quickly, without leaving that greasy horrible feeling behind.

Rich & Foamous Dual-Use Shower & Bath Body Wash

This is a smoothie of raw flower honey and almond milk, moisturising coconut oil, sweet almond oil and cocoa butter, and once again your best friend for dry winter skin. Its texture is rich and creamy and lathers up nicely using the polisher provided, leaving my skin soft and moisturised. I particularly like how its smell still lingers on my skin an hour or so after I've used the product, something I can say for very few shower products I've tried. This has already become a staple for me and will repurchase again and again.

Isn't this set flawless and just so so adorable? A great Xmas gift that you can find here or in Boots stores for only £12; worth every penny. Just make sure you don’t actually hang it on your tree though, you don’t want it to fall over as this tin is seriously heavy!
