Benefit Pump Up The Party! Set

Benefit Pump Up The Party! Set

With less than 3 months to the end of the year, it is inevitable that everywhere you turn Christmas decorations and gifts are all you will see. Christmas is my favourite time of the year, and whilst last year I spent it under the blazing sun in Brazil, this year I am looking forward to spending it at home, under the covers, watching my favourite winter movie, drinking hot chocolate and burning my favourite candle...cliché I know!

Christmas is all about family time and celebrating its true meaning, but who can say no to a good gift?! Christmas shopping started early this year for me; on a quick stop at Boots to pick up some shampoo, I actually ended up leaving £80 behind, oops! Thankfully I did have a few of accumulated discount codes and got lots of points in return. Unable to resist the Christmas gift sets aisle, I impulsively brought home the Benefit Pump Up the Party make-up set.

Benefit Pump Up The Party! Set

I am lover of all things Benefit, but their mascara and primer were the few things I had yet to try, so sample sized products seemed the perfect way to test things out before forking out on the real thing. The set is worth £49.01 and includes the famous Benefit highlighter, primer, eyeshadows and mascara and a few other bits. Designed to take us seamlessly from day to night, this is the perfect travel size kit that allows you to create flirty and fun look for eyes, lips and cheeks, and I honestly can say I love all of its contents.

Starting with the Longwear Powder Eyeshadows, I find this mini palette to be ideal for that autumnal look we are all going for this season. Shades from left to right are Milk It!, the perfect pearly white highlighting shade, It’s Complicated, a warm-toned golden peach shade, Nude Swings, a rose gold with a hit of peach and champagne, and last but not least Kiss Me, I'm Tipsy, a spiced medium brown that blends like a dream! The last swatch is the Rockateur powder, a rose gold "blonzer" with a mix of pink, beige, and brown with a satiny shimmer. When applied with the precision yet fluffy brush, it provides defined cheekbones, and with a buildable formula it works on most skin tones.

Benefit Pump Up The Party! Set

The kit's remaining products are the High Beam highlighter we all know and love, the Roller Lash curling mascara that I so desperately want to try, the famous POREfessional face primer that is highly hyped and the Benetint, a rose-tinted cheek and lip stain, which I am not too sure on how to use but will give it a try anyway.

For £29.50 here, this kit makes it perfect for you starting to play more and more with make-up, for those looking for the perfect Christmas gift, or like myself, that little treat on payday.

What do you think of this gorgeous selection of goodies? Let me know below!
Thank you for reading beauties and have a lovely week ahead!

  2. This looks like a pretty good set... I did the same thing in Boots a few weeks ago but ended up buying everything for myself, I just couldn't resist. This would make a great gift though, or like you say, a treat for yourself. ;D

  3. I really love Benefit and I normally buy some nice "boxes" or deals for friends! Last year I gave a little box, that looked like a tiny house, in fact, sweet and with 5 products and gave to a friend that I like very much. But I guess she didn't like it much :( Well, I loved this one now, with more products! I started buying Christmas presents! Yes, time flies!

  11. That's a nifty little kit and filled with some of the best Benefit products, what a great buy! I do love Benetint and Roller Lash, the mascara one of the two that I can wear by itself and my usually poker straight lashes will stay curled!

  16. Benefit do lovely gift sets! I've found them to be a bit repetitive this year though but they are great if you are just getting into the brand and at least I will save myself some money! Or find something else to spend it on :D

  18. Even though I love the packaging I am not really tempted by the content. I don't like the mascara or the primer, so I don't think it would be worth the money for me.
