Lipsticks to Lashes: GlossyBox November 2015 + Gold & Plum Make-Up Look

GlossyBox November 2015

Another month, another Glossybox! For some reason, despite looking forward to receiving these boxes at the beginning of every month, sometimes I am not too keen on writing about them. Frankly, not too sure if it’s something interesting for those who aren't subscribers. This month however, I thought I’d do something a little different and kick things up a bit. Given this box aims to take us from “Lipstick to Lashes”, it was more than appropriate for me to continue with my make-up tutorials here on the blog (see my first one here). I used the natural eyeshadow palette, the berry lipstick, fake eyelashes and primer (all contents of this month’s box) and created a fall ready look that is so easy to recreate and to wear right through this season. Keep reading to find out more!

GlossyBox November 2015

Royal Apothic Body Lotion | £14.50
We seem to get a lot of body lotions in these monthly boxes which may annoy some, but this little guy came at the right time for me. My skin suffers pretty badly during the winter being naturally dry, so body lotion must always be in stock on my bathroom shelf. Given this contains lactic acid which exfoliates the skin, allowing more moisture through to the new skin below; I am already on my way to smooth, hydrated and super soft skin.

Emite Diamond Heart Primer | £25.90
A tad pricey for a primer if you ask me, but I have noticed that this really does make up for a great base. It is extremely lightweight which makes prepping the skin super easy and fast (I hate those primers that take a lifetime to dry). I have found that it smooths my skin and pores rather well, not better than my all-time favourite POREfessional but not half bad either.

GlossyBox November 2015

MUA 12 Shade Undressed Eyeshadow Palette | £4
My first ever MUA product to try and I am impressed! Did I need a new palette? No. But I am glad they included this in because it makes for a great day-to-day product. I am stingy when it comes to using the good stuff, so instead of wasting my Nakeds on my work make-up, I will pick this up instead and be able to create both day and night looks thanks to the nude and metallic colours. The shades are pigmented and despite having a little fall-out, for the price tag one cannot complain.

Eylure Natural Lashes | £5
I recently spoke about how fake lashes are a nightmare to get right, so I am glad to report that these went on sooo easily! I actually managed to glue them first time round thanks my new DUO glue (which is awesome but stinks so bad!). Keep reading to see how they look on but in a nutshell: very natural looking.

GlossyBox November 2015

Revlon Super Lustrous Black Cherry Lipstick | £7.99
Back in October we were asked to choose 1 out of 4 shades and I of course went with the darkest one, just because. Black Cherry is a lovely deep plum colour. The lipstick is infused with vitamin E and avocado oil which feels very hydrating and glides on easily. It isn't totally opaque, so a few coats were needed to achieve the look below and I find that the colour on the bullet is very deceiving but a nice colour to add to my make-up collection nonetheless.

And here’s my make-up look created using all (bar the body lotion obvs) goodies above. On my face I started with the Emite primer, applied the L’oreal Infallible foundation followed by the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer. Sealed all of it with my NYX Mattifying powder and contoured using my beloved (and very much used) Sleek Face Contour

GlossyBox November 2015

Eyes were created using the Mary Kay eyeshadow primer as a base followed by the MUA palette. On my crease I have shade Hazel (the only matte shade in the palette) blended all across; on my outer corners I applied Bronze Ore and Lion all over my lid. I finished off with Puff under my brow bone and the inner corners of the eyes to highlight. I lined my eyes with my favourite Collection gel liner, glued the Eylure lashes and finished off with a coat of the Roller Lash mascara by Benefit. I am also wearing the Dip Brow Pomade from ABH in Medium Brown which is a new favourite!

GlossyBox November 2015

And finally on my lips I have Black Cherry, this super gorgeous yet extremely hydrating lipstick from Revlon  which is my first one from the brand. It is patchy as you can see but it doesn't bother me too much as  it can be worn sheerly as a stain or fully for a more opaque look. Ah, and if you want to read more about all of these products, just make sure you click on the links for more detailed reviews I've done in the past here on the blog.

So this is this month’s box and the look I came up with using its contents. Admittedly, not my favourite but Glossybox has really stepped their game these past few months and I can't wait to see what is yet to come! On other news, sadly I did not manage to get me a NARS Glossybox yesterday (I was too busy at work and it was sold out in 27 minutes!!!!) but am looking forward to the December one already. It is called Rose Gold Collector’s Edition and you will agree with me that it sounds pretty promising. Fingers crossed!

Thank you for reading beauties and let me know what you think below!

TAG: 40 Personal Beauty Questions Answered

1. What skin type do you have?
I'd say a combination of dry and oily, even though its mostly dry. My forehead, cheeks and neck are quite dry so I tend to apply lots of moisturiser in these areas, but my nose, dark circles and eyelids can be oily so primer is always a must in my make-up routine!

2. What is your current facial wash?
Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash. This is by far my favourite face wash because it removes my make-up really well, leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean and is affordable. Love it!

3. How many times do you wash your face daily?
Twice: in the morning before I cleanse and moisturise and at night. Me without make-up is not a good look and don't nobody deserve to see me like that, so no washing during the day.

4. Do you exfoliate?
Yes, twice a week. It makes a real difference to my skin which feels just so soft afterwards. I like Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash.

5. What moisturiser do you use?
I use two different ones. My day cream is Rich Moisturising Day Cream by Nivea and at night I use Beautiful Skin Night Cream Normal/Dry by N.7 (simply the best moisturiser I have ever used). I also use a serum by Nivea called Cellular Anti-Age to avoid fine lines and wrinkles. To see my skincare regime you can check this post here.

6. Do you use eye cream?
Yup, it’s called Simple Kind to Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-On and I swear by it. It soothes my skin and is great under my make-up (I did a review of it here).

7. Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
I've been really blessed in the skin department and cannot complain about the minor imperfections and small pimples that arise from time to time; nothing major that I can’t cover with a little bit of make-up.

8. What foundation do you use?
I have way too many and I tend to use a different one every day. But my favourite by far is Stay Perfect Foundation by N.7 and my shade is Warm Ivory. It's not matte (which is the only downsize) but it gives me such good coverage and stays put for hours.

9. How about concealer?
Again, I have many different ones, but right now I'm mostly sticking to Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and my shade is Light.

10. Do you know your undertone colour?
Yup, my undertone is Warm but if you don’t know yours, you can check it here.

11. What do you think of false eyelashes?
Pretty! And I have many of them but can never get them quite right. My own eyelashes with a good amount of mascara give me enough volume as it is so still waiting for a big occasion to bat my ridiculously long falsies.

12. Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes, and I try to follow this rule but I do have some old mascara in my dressing table that cost me a little more than they should have and I just can't seem to get rid of them.

13. What brand of mascara do you use?
My favourite mascara at the moment is Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara (review of it here). It's cheap and works really well on me. But I have other brands too but the Maybelline one wins it all!

14. Boots or Superdrug?
I much prefer Boots where you can get cheaper make-up as well as premium brands. But, I like MUA and Makeup Revolution, only available at Superdrug.

15. What tools do you use in make-up application?
Everything! I have many different brushes and beauty blenders but nothing beats blending concealer with the tips of my fingers. Funny note: I have tried teaching my mum what each brush is designed for but whenever she needs something she will pick up the first one she sees.

16. Do you use make-up base/primer?
Every day! I have very oily eyelids so if I don’t use a primer, my eye make-up will not hold in place. I use the Mary Kay eye primer and it is amazing! For my face, I have many different ones but my current favourite is W7 primer, which cost me £3.99 and have reviewed it here.

17. What is your favourite eye shadow (colour or shade)?
I like using nude shades and my favourite palette would have to be Koloss Powerful Palette N.2 which I bought in Brazil and it is the exact replica of Naked by Urban Decay.

18. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
I use gel eyeliner because it makes application easier for me.

19. How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
HAHA I have done that once or twice in the past, but nowadays never.

20. What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
Pretty, especially the new MAC Cinderella ones. But they are messy and I am clumsy, so not sure if a good combination.

21. What is your favourite lipstick?
Tough choice, but I would say FruFru by Dailus Pro ( number 4 on this list here). It is the perfect shade of purple and you will definitely be seeing lots of pictures of me wearing it this summer.

22. How about lip gloss?
I'm not really keen on lip gloss to be honest, it sticks to my hair and it's messy. But if I had to choose, I’d say Kiko Supergloss, shade Pearly Rose Quartz which is quite pretty and I wear (very) occasionally.

23. Do you ever buy any make-up on eBay/Amazon?
eBay, no. I've bought a few things from Amazon but I always make sure the seller is trustworthy and the product is authentic by reading the reviews. I have had no problems so far.

24. Do you like drug store make-up?
Like it? I freakin' love it! I do my research to make sure cheap does not mean poor quality and aside from a few disappointments, most of the stuff I bought is pretty awesome.

25. Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
I took a short make-up course by "Boca Rosa" (a somewhat famous make-up artist from Rio, Brazil) and even got myself a nice looking certificate. I want to do a few more but I find them to be somewhat expensive so I need to earn more monies before I am able to brush up on my make-up skills.

26. Hardest make-up trick?
I still have trouble perfecting the cat eye.

27. Name a make-up crime that you hate.
Badly drawn eyebrows are just horrid! I find this video here to be super funny and I agree 100% with everything this blogger says.

28. Crazy coloured make-up?
During the week I tend to wear more neutral shades, but in the weekend I go a bit crazier with the colours.

29. In your opinion. which celebrity always has great make-up?
Jennifer Aniston! I am a huge Friends fan so I may be biased here, but the woman manages to age and look yet more beautiful every time I see her. Her make up is always classy, and less is more with her. I like how her make-up artist highlights her best features and makes her look fresh and natural at the same time.

30. If you could leave the house using just ONE make-up item, what would you pick?
Concealer! I have pretty dark eye circles so that is the one thing I always have to cover up.

31. Could you ever leave the house without any make-up on?
Yes but leaving the house without make-up makes me feel uncomfortable and somewhat "naked". If I'm wearing just a tiny bit of concealer and lip balm, I am already more confident.

32. Do you think you look good without any make-up on?
My fiancé says I do so I will trust him on that.

33. In your opinion, what is the BEST make-up brand?
Hmmm tough one! I don't think I can pick only one, but I am a big fan of all things Benefit. A cheaper make-up brand which I discovered only recently is W7 and their stuff is pretty amazing too.

34. How many times do you wash your hair per week?
Ermmm...every day. I know you are not supposed to but I hate going to sleep with my hair smelling of pollution and whatever else the wonderful London air has to offer. I have to wash it every day even if that means spending a lot of money on Shampoo.

35. What Shampoo and Conditioner do you use?
Garnier Ultimate Blends The Shine Revitaliser Shampoo and Conditioner.

36. When was the last time you got a haircut?
Couple of weeks ago. I tend not get my hair cut very often because I am a tiny bit scared of hairdressers. You tell them "just a tiny bit off the back" but they never listen. Thankfully my last haircut was exactly what I wanted and I even got highlights done.

37. Do you style your hair with heat everyday?
Yes, sadly I do. I like having a straight side fringe and some loose curls but if I am late for work I do my fringe only and I am out of the door.

38. Have you ever had a bad colouring done?
Who hasn't?! I remember wanting highlights really badly a few years back but instead of going to the hairdressers, mum and I thought we could do it ourselves in the comfort of our home. Let's just say things didn't end well and the next day I was at the hairdressers trying to fix what we had done.

39. Buns or Ponytails?
Both! I love having my hair up in different ways, I think they look fun and interesting. I did a post few weeks back where I teach you 10 different hairstyles (which are perfect for Spring/Summer now that I think about it, see here) so check that out for some ideas.

40. What 2015 hair trend do you like best?
I really like how braids are making a comeback (they never went anywhere really). I wish I could do more than a simple fishtail or french braid though so now it's the time to brush up on my braiding skills.

March Favourites 2015

I cannot believe how fast the time is passing by! I know March has not ended just yet, but it's almost April and I wanted to write a list and tell you all about the best products I bought/received this month. It was definitely a big month for me and my make-up collection, I received some awesome goodies and got my bonus at work which meant SHOPPING! I spent way more than I intended to, but that's ok, all in the name of beauty (is what I tell myself to make me feel better and less guilty!). Plus I get to write these awesome little posts and tell you all about it. Alright, get ready for quickie reviews of the products I am in love with and maybe you will like a few! In no particular order, here we go:

1. No.7 Beautiful Skin Night Cream

I talked about this product in my Skincare and Make-up Routine post a couple of weeks back (read here), and this is by far the best night cream I have ever used. It smells really good, leaves my dry skin feeling great and it dries in no time! I have been using this for a month or so now, not long at all, but I can already see results. It feels light on my skin and in the morning my face is not at all greasy, plus a little goes a long way. I bought this on sale at Boots (3 for 2 on N.7 products) which is still on I believe and I super recommend it if you have normal/dry skin like I do. It only costs £13.50, so I'd rather buy this than spend a ridiculous amount of money on a product that will give me the same result.

2. Profile Nail Polish Thinner
Ever used nail polish remover to revive old nail polish? I did! many many manyyyy times. The end result was always the same: ruined varnishes thrown in the bin. Using it for this purpose it's a big no-no! It makes the colour and finish very dull and we definitely don't want that. Don't judge me, but only recently did I find out that there was something called Nail Polish Thinner. I know it's been around for a long time, but I finally got me one of these and now all my polishes have a second chance at life (how poetic). This products works so well and I have been able to use my favourite colours again and again, a big yes-yes! I got mine on Amazon for like 5 bucks, so check it out here.

3. Essie Nail Varnish Duo

Speaking of nail polish, I got this super cute Limited Edition Gift set by Essie. The theme is "Royal Baby" and the set features 2 gorgeous colours, a baby pink:"Lovie Dovie"and of course, a baby blue: "Lapiz of Luxury". Check out my mani below:

The pink polish is like a perfect flamingo pink, very romantic and bright (a bit too bright for some people, but not me!) and the blue is like a dreamy ocean blue. Both super perfect for spring and I have literally been wearing them non-stop!

4. Dailus PRO Matte Liquid Lipsticks

These are by far THE best lipsticks I have ever tried and here's why:
1. The colours are highly pigmented, they give amazing coverage and are so versatile.
2. They really are matte (I hate when a product claims to be something it is not).
3. They are cheap (approx 5 quid).
4. These have such a good durability. I find that even after I've eaten something, the colour is still intact. Here are a few swatches so you can totally see what I am talking about when I say these are perfection:
Only problem is, they are only sold in Brazil and every month new shades seem to be coming out which is a bummer because no store does overseas delivery, so thank you Flávia for bringing these for me! BUT not all hope is lost yet! The lipsticks that in my opinion can compete with Dailus are these one here by Anastasia Beverly Hills. The colours are pretty awesome too and they are available online in the UK.

5. Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara

What it claims to do: "Our 1st Layer-Reveal Brush captures even the tiniest lashes and volumises the look of longer lashes for a layered, multiplied lash look". My verdict: I have had a few high end mascaras, yet this one manages to achieve the same great results at a fraction of the price! Here's a swatch of it:
The brush is amazing and separates every lash. The formula curls and lengthens my lashes in only 2 coats and I have people asking me if these are my real lashes! It doesn't flake, clump, fade or run down my face and the result are long, fluttery yet natural lashes. A great all rounder and definitely the best I have used in a long time.

6. Max Factor Colour Corrector Sticks
Or as my mother likes to call it, the "magic stick". This one comes in a variety of shades, but I purchased the yellow one and I have been loving it. The yellow one aims to to correct and perfect any tonal imperfections in your skin such as dark under eye circles, but if you have redness or blemishes that you wish to cover, check my guide for choosing the right colour here. There are some mixed reviews on this one, some people love it, some hate it.
I personally think this is a great product and even though the product is somewhat chalky this works well on me because I have oily under eyes. I blend it on before applying foundation and concealer. It's lightweight and comfortable, and invisible under the rest of my make up. Even though it's not the cheapest out there, I couldn't be happier, and I'll definitely be looking into trying the other shades too!

7. Real Techniques Stippling Brush

Not the cheapest and for a £11.99 brush I thought, this better be good. Guess what? It is. This is the best brush I have amongst the many (many, many) brushes I own. It blends foundation in really well and gives a lovely finish. The bristles are soft and easy to clean. It totally transforms the appearance of my foundation giving it a flawless finish. My face looks somewhat airbrushed as it blends perfectly, leaving no streaks behind (something I hate) so it's well worth the money! I personally use this for foundation as I said, but there are multiple different ways you can use it too, check out the original video by Real Techniques teaching us what we can do with it here.

8. Rimmel BB Cream 9 in 1
I have had no luck with BB creams in the past. They all just felt too creamy/watery and not at all covering. It doesn't help that I feel like BB creams should give me coverage like foundation does, so when I saw this at the supermarket for like £3, I didn't think much. I thought 9 properties was asking for too much: "primes, moisturises, minimizes pores, conceals, covers, smoothes, mattifies, brightens, and helps protect", yeah right!!!. But this stuff is amazing and I am in love. I use the light shade and it added just the right amount of colour to my skin without making me look orange. For the price it was an absolute bargain and I don't have to use loads to get a good coverage. Blends in easily, skin looks smooth and soft, and lightweight. I stand corrected, BB creams can be great! Do try it for yourself!

9. Simple Kind To Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-On

When I see products like this, I usually don't bother, but when I saw it on sale at Boots I thought I'd give it a try. I now love this eye roll-on and is definitely something I will be purchasing again and again! I use this after removing my make up and it instantly cools my under eye area. It's not magic but it does reduce redness. It is really easy to apply and feels really light on my skin. I particularly like how it dries quickly and how much more awake I look after putting it on. I have been using this for a few weeks now and people have noticed how diminished my dark circles appear. Everything by Simple that I have tried in the past has won me over, this is not any different.

So these are the products I am in love with at the moment. Now I feel like I should write a post about the bad products I have come across too ( I have way too many of these!). What do you think? Wanna share a few of your favourites? Leave a comment below!

Thanks again for reading beauties and have a beautiful weekend ahead!

My Every Day Skin Care and Make-Up Routine

If you are like me, you probably have a ton of products just sitting in your bathroom which are all meant to go on your face. I know it can be tricky to determine what to put on first, it surely took me long enough to actually start taking care of my skin, but after constant nagging from mommy I finally started and I am so glad I did. It took me a while to figure this all out but now I swear by my routine; my skin is now much smoother and healthier looking. Today I want to share with you what I do on a day-to-day basis. It makes my makeup stay in place, makes sure my skin is well nourished and as a result I get a more beautiful finish (and lots of compliments on my baby skin). All the products pictured are the actual products I use, they are all super accessible which is why I love them so much!

SKINCARE

1. Cleansers

Before we start slapping all sorts of things on our face it is very important that we have a clean canvas to work with. The first step is to use cleaning wipes and if you had any make up on, a make-up remover. These face cleansers are designed to clean away dirt (obviously), but it is important to remember that these affect the pH level of our skin. This is why the next step is very important, and a toner is what we need.
 2. Toners
Toner helps to restore your skin pH levels. More benefits include the promotion of natural hydration, tightening effect on your pores and smoothness of your skin. On me, it works its magic by removing any dirt that was left behind; leaves my skin feeling so so clean!

3. Serum

Serums aren't cheap but if applied properly, it should last you several months. Serums are made of very small molecules, making your skin absorb the product quickly and deeply. I like using an anti-age one because of my forehead fine lines but also because it's very concentrated and I need all the moisture I can get. I wait for this to dry before using a day/night cream.

4. Moisturiser

Now that we have cleaned our skin and used a serum to moisturise the deeper layers, we need to protect it for our day. I like using a day cream before doing my makeup as it nourishes my dry skin and provides me with SPF15. It has the right amount of nutrition my skin needs to make it through the day. I repeat the whole process at night (ie. clean+serum) and then use a night cream. This replenishes and restores any vitamins I've lost during the day, which will be absorbed all night long.

MAKE--UP

1. Primer

Primer has changed my life and I am not even being dramatic about it. This particular one from Rimmel London leaves my skin feeling so silky but not at all oily. You can feel that it covers your pores pretty well and it has definitely made my makeup last much longer, without having to constantly do any touch ups throughout the day. It is also so cheap compared to other primers available in the market that there are no excuses for not using any.

2. Colour Correcting Concealer

This step is not necessary if you don't suffer from bad under eye circles; not my case. Thanks to my mother (love you mommy), I have inherited some pretty dark circles so I am constantly in the look out for better concealers, but these are the ones I actually like. Nyx HD Yellow concealer is by far my favourite out of the 2, but if you want to master the art of contouring I would totally recommend the palette too. I use a yellow one but here is a guide for choosing the right colour for you:

Green: Green neutralizes the colour red, wonderful to reduce the appearance of a spot, acne scars, sunburn, etc.
Purple: For yellow undertones, ie. yellow spots.
Pink: In reality more like salmon or peach, best used to combat very dark under eye circles.
Yellow: Perfect for hiding purple or blue veins and under eye circles.
Orange: For people with darker skin tones looking to hide dark circles.
White: For highlighting and contouring your cheek bones, inner and outer corners of your eyes, etc.
Neutral: For the lucky ones with no skin problems at all, just choose a shade similar or lighter to your skin tone.

3. Foundation

By this stage I look like Sponge Bob with yellow concealer all over my face. I wait for it to dry a little bit before applying foundation. I am currently using N.7 Stay Perfect Foundation and I am loving it! My shade is Warm Ivory (you can check what yours is at Boots) and it gives me medium-full coverage. I concentrate the product on my T-zone and with what is left on the brush I eventually cover all of my face. I don't need loads of it, just a drop and all done, ready for the next step.

4. Concealer

I like applying this concealer (colour Ivory) to highlight. This goes on my under eyes, inner and outer corners of eyes, under brow bone, down the middle of my nose and on its side, and in my cupid’s bow. Basically follow the chart here. After this step I like using the Real Techniques Stippling brush, as it gives a lovely airbrushed finish and eliminates the chances of streaky application.

5. Powder

To seal all of this "goodness" in and mattify my skin, I use a translucent powder. It makes me look less shiny and being "invisible", this can be used for any skin tone. I like this Collection one, which is super cheap BTW but does the job.

6. Bronzer

Before adding a bronzer, I look like a ghost. With foundation we have taken away all of our natural shadows, now it's time to add these back. To make it as simple as possible imagine a 3 on the sides of your face, like this here. This is where I lightly add bronzing powder (remember, don't go bronzer crazy, the orange look is not a good look for anyone!). This restores all the natural shadows AND makes you look slimmer- no kidding!

7. Blush

Blush makes you look healthy and I particularly love peach coloured ones. Make sure it's blended in well, we do not want 2 round stamps on our cheeks. Smile with your lips closed and apply product on the cheeks accentuated. Easy peezy!

8. Highlighter
I've said it before, highlighter is perfect to showcase where the shine would naturally be if the sun was hitting your face, so if applied correctly, it can give you a beautiful glowing look. I like applying it across my cheek bones and to the centre of the chin. You can also try doing this before applying the blush.

End Result:

This takes me approx. 10 mins every morning, and when I come home my make-up still looks fresh and is not running down my face.

Thanks again for reading everyone and have a nice weekend!

My (Very Extensive) Make-Up Wishlist

If my dad saw me writing this, he would be very confused as to why I want more make-up. To him, the "collection" I have now is more than enough to last me my whole life. BUT I am girl and you simply can never have too much (sorry daddy). There are TOO many new products coming out every year, too many shades and texture to choose from...AHHH it just becomes hard to resist and I can't even keep up. Don't get me wrong, I am not a compulsive buyer. Before I buy something, I make sure I do thorough research and probably read over 100 different reviews. When I am convinced it's worth my money, I add it to this list and here a few things I have been dying to get my hands on.

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade £15

This! This, in my opinion, is by far the best eyebrow product in the market and the first on this list I intend to buy. I have tried multiple pencils and eyebrow filling kits and they are good......ish. But to up my brow game, I NEED this! It comes in a few different colours and mine is Medium Brown. Sadly, this product is only available online so you need to be 100% certain of your colour. If you click on the price above, you will see where this is available.

2. Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Pore Minimizing £28

I got a sample of this primer and let me tell you something, 2 words: A-MAZING! It left my skin feeling great, no visible pores and just so so smooth. My makeup was intact for 12 hours but I have a feeling it lasts a lot longer. It is a bit pricey, but well worth the investment.

3.Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Mat £34.99

I don't know about you, but washing my brushes takes so much time and it's so boring, my least favourite thing about make-up. I wash them every week (hygiene is very important you guys!) and this would make my life a lot easier. The price though....yikes! I love the idea so I will be on the look out for a cheaper dupe.

4. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner £18

Been after a good gel eyeliner for some time now. I'm not very confident with liquid liners nor pencil ones, so gel works best for me. Plus, I have oily eye lids and have considered many brands such as Mac, Kiko, L'oreall, Urban Decay but this award winning product has won me over! Come to mama!

5. Too Faced Melted Lipstick - Violet £19

The colour is so beautiful and very "in" right now. It's all about purple lipstick nowadays! I have a cheapy dupe from LA Girl, the colour is great but it does not even come close to the real thing in terms of quality. Spring is coming up and this colour is a must have!

6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Pro Series Contour Kit Medium £39

I know the price is scary and I do have 2 contouring kits already BUT we will all agree that this is on a different level completely! Anything Anastasia does is perfect after all.

7. Nars Cosmetics Sheer Glow Foundation £31

Bought a pretty similar foundation from No 7; gives me a nice glow and makes me look fresh all day. But when it finishes this is the one I will be getting. My shade is Siberia (the lightest).

8.Mac Glitter Reflects in Pearl, Stepmother and Pretty It Up, each £18.50

Can we pause for a second? Mac + Cinderella! I was very tempted to put the entire MAC Cinderella collection on this list, but must.control.myself. These pigments are so beautiful I may cry. I really should start saving now for this collection because I don't want it, I NEED it! (comes out March in the UK).

9. Sigma Beauty Essential Kit Set of 12 Brushes CK001 £102.94

I confess, I have way too many brushes already but this is Sigma we are talking about. The price isn't pretty but the quality is amazing and a must have for every beauty lover out there.

10. Nars Blush Deep Throat £23

I am completely obsessed with Nars products at the moment! This blush is so highly pigmented and this shade is gorgeous. Will definitely be my go-to blush for this spring.

11. Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream Prague £6.50

The cheapest on this list, yet the hardest to find; always "Sold out". I have heard great things about this lip cream and every swatch I see is more beautiful than the next. Will keep checking until it's back in stock. Fingers crossed!

12. Benefit High Beam Luminescent Complexion Enhancer £19.50

I recently started using a highlighter on my cheek bones and if applied correctly, it can give you a beautiful glowing look. I purchased a few (Chanel, Bourjois and Sleek) and they are very nice but this product is liquid and provides a more natural finish than powder; perfect for daylight make-up!

13.Mac Lip Pencil Soar £12.50

To recreate Kylie Jenner's famous lips, why else! This and some lip balm=Job done! And Marsala is the colour of the year so this is perfect to create very much "in" lips!

In short, I need more monies! I hope you like this wishlist and if you buy any of this stuff, do tell me what you think, I would love to hear your opinion.

Thanks for reading beauties and see you soon!

xoxo
