3 Trends To Wear Now And Right Through The Fall Season

A new season is like a brand new day, a brand new week, when you're ready for fresh starts. The beginning of fall is exciting, not only because our favourite holidays get nearer with every sleep, but also because fashion always has something fresh and cool in store for us. This season is no different and a new wave of trends is making its way to our favourite high streets shops and soon enough, if they haven't yet, they will be entering our closets. With this in mind, today I wanted to talk about 3 trends that are widely available on the high street at the moment, making them affordable (especially if you're not ready to splash out on a whole new wardrobe just yet) and wearable. Not only are these trends the perfect examples on how to transition from summer to autumn, but are also must have styles you're going to be loving the entire longevity of fall.

RED
Let's start with an obvious one because you are bound to have seen pops of red everywhere, if not all red outfits. I confess red has not always been among my favourite shades, but this season I am loving it and it has already proven to be the "It" shade of the season. I don't think I'm ready to invest in an all red outfit, but red accents are a fun way to try this trend and I already have my eyes on a pair of red boots from Zara - because you can never have too many boots!

DARK FLORALS
Florals never truly go away but this season it is chicer than ever and I am currently searching for a maxi floral dress to go with boots as it seems to be the key look of the season! This has to be one of most versatile of the trends, found on everything from maxi dresses, coats, skirts and tops, to boots! Embroidered florals also count and that is one to kill two birds with one stone!

GREY CHECK
I almost bought myself a blazer in this Prince of Wales print from Primark which would have been the obvious way to wear the trend, but this check print is widely spread on the high street at the moment. Think chequered skirts, scarves and oversized coats, anything that is slightly masculine but still chic enough to wear out or for work. An all check look also gets bonus points for cool-girl style. I might just have to pop back to Primark for that blazer!

What do you think of these trends? Will you be wearing them? Let me know below!
Thanks for reading beauties and happy October!

  1. I love red anyway and have red in my wardrobe already, not to mention red lipstick. So I guess that it goes without saying that I will be into red this season. :D

  4. Yes! I knew I was accurately keeping up with what's on trend lately lol. I'm usually so out of sync.
I'm not a huge fan of red at all lol, so red accents sounds cool. And I seriously want a grey checked oversized blazer. I have been seeing them everywhere!
