Sport Fashion Made Luxe For Fall

Designers have been obsessed with the sports luxe trend for a few seasons now and it looks like it's here to stay. We were (and maybe still are) obsessed with white tennis trainers, logo tees and backpacks are more popular than ever as we have swapped classier pieces for sporty alternatives. The idea is all about luxe sportswear that will never be near a treadmill but sit in harmony with the rest of our wardrobe. Pieces such as a satin and embroidered bomber jacket and sweatpants made of luxurious fabrics are perfect examples and when I saw these trousers from tobi.com I knew I had to have them!

SIDE STRIPE TROUSERS

Similar trousers are everywhere on the high street right now and are the perfect transition piece for fall as they aren't too warm yet are comfy enough for those colder days. Narrow lines down the sides remind me tracksuits which aren't always the most flattering in these types of pants. But, thanks to its cut and its vertical lines the leg area looks elongated and when paired with the right shoes and smarter accoutrements up top, it does not look out of place but instead rather chic. Conveniently, these trousers also boost side pockets and an elasticated waist adding to its comfiness. I can already imagine it paired up with a black cami, pointy black pumps and a denim jacket which proves how versatile these can be!

OFF SHOULDER WHITE SHIRT

Off-shoulder isn't going away anytime soon and this shirt is the ultimate example of how to try this trend this fall, besides white shirts are timeless so I know I am going to get a lot of wear out of it, regardless of the season. This shirt adds the perfect amount of "sexy" without making the look less smart. With trousers like these, as I said before, your best bet is to balance things and make the look a little more chic and for that, a smart top is a safer choice. This shirt pulls the whole look together and the dramatic bell sleeves are the cherry on top!

BARELY THERE HEELS

When in doubt, barely there heels, a 90s girl's fave, are your best friend. As Vogue.com Editor Brooke Ely Danielson once said, these shoes are "versatile, sexy and effortless" and I couldn't describe them better myself. I've had this pair for a couple of years now and despite being white, I am amazed at how many times I've worn it. I wore it to a wedding once, to my own civil ceremony and with this look, it is just right. Barely there heels are simple yet incredibly fashionable and look extremely chic with an array of different outfits. You know what they say, sometimes less is more and with these shoes, this statement has never been truer!
