It's been a while since I've talked anything beauty related over on this blog of mine and today that is about to change. Despite shying away from the subject these past few months, I have continued to try new products, most of which landed on my doorstep. I have tried to contain myself for about a year now and not buy unessential things, only replacing products that run out and goodies I can really justify the need (or "the want"). Which is why I am glad to have found new favourites amongst the load I received and today I wanted to share these with you. Keep on reading to find out what products I've been loving lately!
Un Air D'Antan Y'a D'la Joie, Eau de Toilette Full of Joy* | £15
Who doesn't love French fragrances and toiletries?! When Un Air D'Antan reached out I knew I wanted to try their fragrances, famous for being inspired by timeless French songs, and produced in France. They kindly sent me their Eau de Toilette called Full of Joy, and it is a truly gorgeous fragrance. With a hint of lily of the valley, a touch of orange blossom and rose petals, this tonic, and energising and floral scent is exactly what I needed to wake me up on those particular cold mornings and to bring a smile to my face. It is sweet and floral (my favourite kind) and it smells a lot more expensive than it actually is. The brand is also paraben-free, and all products are dermatologically tested and PH skin neutral. LOVE!
Nu Skin Nu Colour Replenishing Lipstick in Brandy* | £19.21
If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen that I attended the Nu Skin beauty event at the end of October. It was a great night where the brand unveiled their latest beauty products (fed us with some lovely canapés and gave us the opportunity to meet fellow beauty lovers) and I got given this lipstick. I've been a fan of Nu Skin for quite some time now, and other shades of this lipstick have been featured on the blog before (read about shade Cha Cha Red here). This Brandy shade, however, is proving to be perfect for this time of year and I love its finish. Not only is this caramel brown nude colour stunning, the formula provides powerful antioxidant and tissue-nurturing benefits to the lips. It is very moisturising and everything I want in a lipstick for the colder days.
I've never been an avid eyeliner wearer but lately, I have found that it makes the whole difference to my makeup look, especially for night outings. I went to Boots on the hunt for something new a couple of months back, as all of my gel liners had dried out, and stumbled across this. Never a fan of pen liners, I thought I'd try it anyway, and I am so glad I did as I found something relatively inexpensive and so so good! This eyeliner is precise, it has an intense colour formula, and for someone as bad at eyeliner as me, the smart tip makes the liner glide smoothly on my lids and the finished look isn't half bad. It doesn't wear out throughout the day and it doesn't smudge, which are major pluses for my watery eyes. It isn't waterproof but it still does trick!
Nu Skin Nu Colour Advanced Liquid Finish in Almond* | £38.35
A tad expensive for a foundation I agree but in my opinion, so worth it. This foundation is light to medium coverage, it provides a matte finish and reduces dullness and redness, things my skin suffers from daily. Lately, I've been a loving a more light coverage as I really don't want anything too heavy on my skin every day. Granted my skin isn't exactly problematic, so a light/medium coverage serves me well. If you look for something a little more covering, probably not a product for you. This foundation has proven to be my ideal companion for work life and I've worn every day for 3 weeks now; needless to say, I am hooked. It also contains SPF 15, which is always a plus even during the winter and with the addition of anti-ageing ingredients, it promises to help achieve a flawless and youthful look. Obviously, I haven't experienced anti-ageing benefits as my skin isn't mature and I have not worn it for that long, but I can vouch for the flawless finish. For even lighter coverage, I definitely want to try the Nu Skin tinted moisturiser for those no-makeup makeup look days!
Despite my foundation providing a matte finish, I don't feel whole if I don't apply some face powder to set everything in its place. I picked up this on a whim, originally wanting the Vichy loose powder but the Boots store I went to had sold out. I have combination skin so a good powder to take away any shine is a must. This does a great job at that and it is more affordable than the Vichy offering. I particularly like using a translucent powder to set my under eye area, and whilst some I've tried in the past (like the Nyx and Collection loose powders) oxidised my concealer, this keeps my under eye area illuminated and in place. Definitely a powder I will repurchase!
Have you tried any of these? Let me know below what you're currently loving!

I haven't tried any of these products but I am fond of pen eyeliner. I use Rimmel's and have been since I discovered it. I can't get the hang of gel liner, pen works fab for me.
