10 Amazing (& Easy!) Pancake Recipes

Good morning beauties! Firstly, apologies for the lack of updates recently. Life has been pretty hectic with wedding planning and all (it's SO near) and needless to say it has left me feeling a little overwhelmed. I miss updating this space of mine more regularly but life happens. I will try to bring new content every once in a while but until the wedding, it probably won't be as regular as before which is ok with me given despite the stress, I am having so much fun with planning our big day and I can't wait to share every detail with you guys! Until then, follow me on Instagram where I post daily so you're in the know of what's happening lately!

Now, onto today's post, I'm recycling a post I wrote two years ago which is still very much relevant today given it's Pancake Day! I bring you the ultimate list of pancake recipes you will need for today. These are bound to be crowd-pleasers, and if you want something healthier, more chocolaty or even savoury pancakes, I've got you covered! Check these out:

1. BEAUTIFUL RAINBOW PANCAKES
iambaker.net
Rainbow pancakes give you the best of both worlds; tasty and oh so pretty to look at! The recipe couldn't be easier and let's be honest, why else would you be making them if it wasn't to show off on Instagram?! I don't even blame you! Check out the recipe here.

2. RED VELVET PANCAKES WITH CREAM CHEESE GLAZE

cookingclassy.com

Red velvet and cream cheese are a match made in heaven (if you've tried the red velvet cake from Hummingbird Bakery you will know exactly what I am talking about!). Excuse me whilst I go beg mommy to make me some. Recipe here.

3. OREO COOKIES PANCAKES
minimalistbaker.com

Oreos were my favourite snack when I was at uni and when I found these pacakes I knew I had to include them in this list! Perhaps not the healthiest but surely one of the tastiest. If you want to get fat with me, check out the recipe here.

4. BACON PANCAKES

marthastewart.com

When is bacon not a good idea? The perfect meal for lunch on pacake day! Recipe here.

5. BANANA PANCAKES
jamieoliver.com

I may not stand the smell and taste of bananas but for the banana lovers out there this recipe is perfect! Check out the recipe here.

6. TOMATO & MUSHROOM PANCAKES
bbcgoodfood.com

On a diet? Not a problem! Here's a healthier savoury recipe that will allow you to enjoy pancake day too! Steps here.

7. PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP- COOKIE PANCAKES
lecremedelacrumb.com

That's a mouthful, literally. But you know what they say, breakfast is the most important meal of the day so why not start with this hearty option? I'm sure it will make your day a whole lot better! Recipe here.

8. BRAZILIAN PANCAKE ROLLS (PANQUECAS DE CARNE)
brazilianchef.co.uk

If you haven't yet tried something like this, you are seriously missing out. I may be biased but trust me when I say this is incredibly tasty and it makes for a super easy lunch/dinner dish that will surely please the entire family! Check out the rather simple recipe here.

9. CHOCOLATE CREPES

allrecipes.com

Technically still a pancake, no? Recipe here.

10. LEMON AND SUGAR PANCAKES
taste.com.au by Brett Stevens

A British classic and you can never go wrong with a classic! The bitterness of the lemon and the sweetness of the sugar make this a recipe to try today if you're looking for a quick fix. Instructions here.

Bon appétit and I hope you try making a few of these today.
Have fun and enjoy pancake day! Go on, it's the perfect excuse for a cheat day during the week!

Thanks for reading beauties and wishing you a wonderful week ahead!

xoxo

  3. Pancake Day isn't a thing here in Germany, but maybe I can convince my husband to make a different kind of pancakes on the weekend. He is the chef in our family and I bet my daughter would appreciate the rainbow version.

  14. I love lemon and sugar pancakes. I even eat mine plain, but now that I'm cutting down on inflammatory foods like dairy, I'm going to make egg and milk-free pancakes.
